Welcome to the website for F. Scott Fitzgerald's story "The Great Gatsby," where you hopefully learn something new about the book!


"The Great Gatsby" was inspired by the author's experinces with the extravagant parties on Long Island.

This famous novel actually has 2 movies, one from 1974, and its more commenly known counterpart from 2013.

A vouple more fun facts about "The Great Gatsby" include, the fact that the novel sold at most 25,000 copies while F. Scott Fitzgerald was still alive, and that a novelist in the story with the name of Thomas Parke D’Invilliers came from a different book of Fitzgerald's.






Throughout the story, you will notice that there are many different symbols that help guide the theme of the book. One of the most famous ones in this story is the billboard of T.J. Eckleburg.
